Building Homes for Tomorrow

2019 - Present

Supporting government's 'Housing for All'

About the Initiative

Green homes are homes that are designed and built to be comfortable and healthy and cause minimal harm to the environment. Such homes are beneficial to both the residents and society at large.

The second edition of the Green handbook- Building Homes for Tomorrow, offers an in-depth guide for homeowners, contractors, and small developers operating in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across India. It delves into environmentally friendly design principles, construction techniques, and materials specifically for low-rise residential buildings. Emphasizing passive design strategies and the conservation of energy and water, this comprehensive resource aims to empower stakeholders to embrace sustainable practices. By focusing on buildings up to G+3 levels on plots of up to 500 sq.m, the handbook draws inspiration from local climatic conditions and exemplary projects, fostering innovation and promoting green construction.
